Melanoma Black Monday May 6th, 2013

I, personally, celebrate the entire month of May as Melanoma Awareness Month, as do those of us who occupy space in Melanomaland. Much of the rest of the world, however, chooses to observe Skin Cancer Awareness Month during May and give Melanoma the first Monday, which this year, is the 6th.

This May 6th we're inviting people to join us in wearing black, our color, and help us celebrate Black Monday. We have a Facebook event set up and it's open. Please join us. Our numbers are growing!

Well, if you know me, you know I have to have an "event song" and it has to be rewritten to fit melanoma. Only one person does that and that would be Rich McDonald, proprietor of Hotel Melanoma. My song of choice for Melanoma Black Monday is I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
