I know. But Katie, ...I know, easier said than done! I know. But Katie, what isn't "easier said than done?" Everything from the minutiae to the monumental falls into that category. We tend to make the effort to so the things that are the most important at the moment and put off those things we think we can put off until tomorrow. Sometimes tomorrow never comes and we never know when that will happen? Have you ever known a person who left home in the morning and never returned? I have. She was in her early 30s, married with 2 young children. She left for work (and she was dearly loved on her job), was talking on her cell phone, came up behind a log truck and didn't stop in time and went up under the truck. She was actually on the phone with her husband when it happened. They were able to get her to the hospital but she never made it home from there. She died less than two days later. I think about her a lot. She was the type of person that no one ever imagined something like this happening to. But it did. I'm 52 with melanoma and melanoma may not kill me. I'm very aware that something might happen today that prevents me from seeing tomorrow. Don't put off until tomorrow what you need to do today (or may just dream of doing!) From being diagnosed to treatment to NED I have gone through similar thoughts a you wrote about. I now know that we only have today so make the most out. Some times we need a push to get us back on track for how ever long that might be. I hope that person may have found something on your site that pushed them in the right direction.scothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13256951786216811443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-320450055573507207.post-26688211161509657092012-03-16T23:37:11.450-04:002012-03-16T23:37:11.450-04:00This is a very thought provoking post. Or, I'm busy, I'll do it later, but in reality, if we don't do things now, when are we ever going to do them? Easier said than done, but motivating nonetheless :)Katie Wilkeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18286648146803495117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-320450055573507207.post-32668983325590240012012-03-16T20:21:21.500-04:002012-03-16T20:21:21.500-04:00Thank you, Susie!
